DV Filming Rental Package
Our DV Equipment package has
everything you need to create your DV film project, including
an experienced DP/cinematographer and equipment. You can then
choose to edit the tape yourself, or we will be happy to edit
for you on our Final Cut Pro system at the hourly rate listed
below. You are responsible for the location of the shooting -
a studio, your home, or an outdoor location. Any costs for the
rental of a shooting location, or for any required permits, will
be your responsibility. We can assist you in getting information
on securing locations.
Our DV filming package includes:
- Cinematographer/DP
- JVC DV500
digital video camera
- specs
- - three 1/2-inch CCD camera
- - 750 effective lines of
resolution
- - 14-bit digital signal processing
- - mini-DV format
- - SOUND: locked 16-bit 48kHz
digital recording w/ two channel XLR input

- Filming Rates
- $40/hour - filming
time (3 hour minimum)
- $350/day - 12-hour
day
- $900 - 3 days,
12 hours per day
- $1300/week - 5
days, 12 hours per day
- $40/hour - each
additional hour over 12 hours each day
- (10% union discount for
members of SAG, AFTRA, AEA, DGA or WGA)
- (15% discount for members
of IFP West)
- (50% deposit required to
secure dates, balance due prior to start of filming)
